High Power Audio Systems and the 280ZX...

I'm in the process of upgrading the stock audio system, in short, I'll be running 1200 RMS watts worth of audio equipment in my ZX. I know the stock alt is 60A and I feel like the "Big 3" upgrade isn't going to cut it. I searched for High Output Alternators, but couldn't find any commercial options. The best I've found was the 'Z Specialties 120A alternator.' Will this even be enough? I'm definitely not going to be leaving it cranked on max very often, although I would like it to be fairly loud on a consistent basis. I know many people add another battery like an Optima Yellow Top, but I don't want to completely destroy the alternator doing this either.

Ideas?

I put in a 500 watt amp and a 150 watt powered sub. Killed my alt in about 2 days of driving around, so I put in a 100 amp GM wire and no problems since!!!!

I would think 120A is plenty of power.
How many amps does 1200w pull through? Maybe 30 to 40?
You'll have a good battery as well as an appropriately sized capacitor on each amp.
Switch all your running lights to LED for less draw on the system at night.
