its like when u wanna hit the gas it wants to stall and when you let off the accel pedal it revvs up.....(well thats what mine does nayways)
lol have the same problem and i gotten all kindsa different answers.....some people say its normal with the 280's....some say its not....i would like it fixed.....i dont know what to do about that....i know my AFM boot is cracked to hell, i need new vaccum hoses....maybe its just cold start valve not functioning...i dont know but yeah same problem here.....im always leaning towards the cold start valve tho....

skully its your boot man... i had the same problem with mine.. i had a hole in mine that i drilled in for my NOS injector and when i took out my nos i had that hole plugged but somehow that plug came off and thats when my car started lagging when it was cold.. i dont think its the cold ctart unit.. that only spreys gass in your intake when you first start the car... but it sounds more like it might be a vac . leak somewhere..

Skully...Son of Bleach!
Skully you should really change your ID to son of Bleach. Now to the post, Blazen280, I'm surprised that Skully didn't tell you the "Skullymeister Method"...the biggest, widest roll of duct tape you can find.
Sorry Skully, couldn't help it, you left yourself wide open for that one.

I was surfing the web the other day and somewhere I read a little article about a hesitation problem, different from yours but it sounded like a problem Im having. Of course I now have forgotten where I read it from. But whats happening is I have a very, very slight hesitation as I give the car gas from idle. The article said something about a little black box, "perhaps connected to either the throttle body or AFM that houses a "switch"??? and when gas is given from idle the switch opens ???? bah, the brains not working sorry, anyway the article said something about adjusting/cleaning the switch contact to release correctly.
Anybody have any idea what Im talking about and perhaps know of the article I read and can point me in that direction I would be thankful.

Are you reffering to the TPS? (throttle position sensor) That's a little black box that needs to be cleaned every now and then! Heh, my blackbox is going to be taking a permanent nap soon so I have to get to the junkyard to find a replacement. That and the stupid harness plug connector thingy always breaks in the same spot no matter what. It's just like the fuel injector connectors! Oh well.

I will check the other parts car and pull it out Monday after work. If its good I'll let you know.
