help: storing 280ZX TURBO

I have a 1982 280ZX Turbo. It has been in storage for about two years now, without being driven. I have kept the gas tank full and treated with "stabil" a gas stabilizer. It is in an unheated garage, with a wooden floor with plastic sheeting under the floor to prevent moisture. The garage is well ventilated. The car is also covered with breathable cover.
This car is in mint condition and I would like to keep it that way. I have heard that gas tanks have a tendency of rusting, when stored. Is there anything else that I should be doing to maintain this car while in storage?

make sure all your parts are lubed up so they dont develope surface rust...your turbo should be taken really good care off...maybe even take it off and put it in the house.....if its gona be stored for long time...

Sounds like you've done a pretty good job prepping it for storage, however, you need to make sure you seal the intake and exhaust.

Regardless of engine rotation, at least one intake valve and one exhaust valve is going to be open.

I've seen some pretty rusted cylinder walls as a result of long term storage and condensation in the open cylinders.

Also, you should remove tension on your belts. Sitting over time under tension will lead to premature cracking and failure of the belts and other rubber components.
