Heater control valve
I have a 1982 280ZX that needs a new heater control valve. It origionallt called for part #27116-P7100 but was redesigned and now goes by part #27116-P6500. What I want to know is what modifications and / or changes need to be made as the two parts are not very similiar?

Do you have auto or manual climate controls?
I know one of the valves had a thermo coil that ran to the heater core box, and later replacement versions didn't include it (no side effects). Discussed here: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/280zx...roblems-22982/ and https://www.zdriver.com/forums/280zx...6-p7100-28580/ |
It is a manual. The old one has the coil. The new one does not. My question is what needs to modified to make the newer version fit and work properly.

Hopefully you clicked those links I posted? :paranoid:
