long time no see
the z's coming along alright, got everything out the engine bay, and interior, just need to start working on the rust and get the few dents sorted out b4 the respray.
i just need some help with an issue i have.

i was wondering if it would be worth getting the exhauste done on the new z' with headers and all, would there b a decent power upgrade? (its a 1979 L28E)
im just unsure if it would be worth it, i love driving the cars and i sometimes drive them hard so power is somthing i would like to look into.

I was pondering doin a motor swap to a turbo motor os some kind in the future but nothing in stone as yet.

what do u guys think? headers worth the money??

Headers are not nessisary unless you have other work done. Ported intake and a cam are a good start. If everything else is stock, leave the exhaust stock.

 

I was thinking of putting on headers and straight piping but how big do you think i could go on the straight piping? I have a 1981 280zx non turbo

 

2.25" is recommended but do not go any bigger than 2.5".
