good deal or not

well today in engine class i happend to look over at this tractor engine the is used for demonstrations and it had a aireasearch to4 turbo on it (thats made by garret right?) well i asked the teacher how much he wanted and he said 30 so i took it off and cleaned it up and then made my t3 a t3/t4 and it spins real nice. so what do you guys think did i get a deal or not

thats a hell of a deal. even turbos in poor shape go for more than that usually. Did you check shaft end play? Even if it spins smoothly it may still need a rebuild. Even if it does need a rebuild you still got a really good deal.

no it has normal end play and i dont think that it was used much because it was just a demonstrations motor. but i dont know what to do with the to4 exhaust side can i even get anything for that
