about to strike a match. Help 1983 280zx #3 missing

We did the plugs wires and new injectors and injector connectors. Has run gr8 since. (2 years) Now # 3 is missing. It is firing at the plug. If i dissconnect the injector connector its still missing. Ichecked the ohms on the injector. it is correct. I was not sure when else to check. I have a car for parts and it has a ECU should i switch? should i switch injectors? Where do i go now???
Has me wanting to strike a match.........

Try swapping the injector plug to another injector. They are batch fire so it won't mess anything up. Also switch the spark plug around and see if the miss moves around. Do one at a time tho to avoid missing the exact cause

Compression test for #3 is recommended and all the cylinders. If there is low or no compression that's mean time for a head gasket or rings job.
Sorry to give you a bad news......
