Clogged Cold Start Valve

I haven't gotten much done on my car recently/been particularly active on this site due to general busyness, but with any luck I should be getting back into it this winter. For the first time since buying my car I'm checking my cold start valve, and it appears to be completely clogged. Does anyone have experience with successfully unclogging it and know what to do, or is it probably worth buying a new one (which I would like to avoid doing if possible)?

Thanks in advance.

Soak the tip in lacquer thinner / brake cleaner for a few hours. Then wipe clean. If that doesn't work, replace it.

I've been running my Z with the cold start valve unplugged because it's stuck open. Doesn't seem to matter much.
