83' 280zx turbo swap with 86' 300zx turbo.

Hello,
Anyone done this swap? I heard some guys said just pull the turbo from 300zx and plug into a 280zx?

The 280zx and early 300zx have the same turbo.... Just oiled cooled. Then came the water/oil cooled in 87. Then late 87 t25 came into play. A Nissan t3 specs are the same so everything bolts together the same...... Assuming you had the proper 280zx turbo parts.(l28 turbo header,L turbo pan, piping etc etc)
