81 280ZX cold idle issue

Hello all, I’m new to Z ownership and the forum. I recently acquired a US 1981 280ZX non Turbo Auto Trans and 95K on it. The car is in overall great shape but has an issue with cold idle. At cold start the car starts instantly but stumbles to shut off quickly. After about three starts it catches itself and will hold a rough idle.Ifthegas pedal is touched the slightest amount it will instantly die. Throttle will not respond without dying until rpm change is heard and motor is at minimum running temperature. I’m not to familiar with this motor and would really appreciate some help in identifying and resolving the issue. Thanks
