Question 280zx Header Studs

I just got an 83 280zx NA and had to take off the exhaust for the tranny swap.. two of the three header bolts snapped off...does anyone know if these bolts are part of the casting of the header or if the bolts are reverse thread and can be unscrewed from the header???

any help is great appreciated

and the haynes and clitton manuals don't have anything on these bolts

Welcome to ZDriver!

They are removable studs. See this thread: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/280zx-s130-forums-77/exhaust-leak-manifold-1982-e320zx-28500/

I would replace them with OEM studs. I got mine from MSA, for not too much. (a buck or two) www.thezstore.com Probably would be best to speak to an operator. I don't think they list them in their store. Good luck man.
