Taking out the rear subframe, where dem bolts?
I have located six (Two for each of the mounts for the subframe, and then the big bolt itself that goes through the bushing) of the bolts that I know I need to undo, and then the six bolts that attach the struts to the towers, but what all other bolts are there so I can drop it out easy tonight

You've got the major shtuffs. I would just leave the ebrake cable in place & detach it at the U coupler. Then just disconnect the brake lines from the calipers. Don't forget the drive line coupler bolts if the diff is coming out too. I believe you will also need to disconnect the left cv axle to clear the exhaust.

The reason I'm dropping the rear sub frame is because I'm under the assumption that I need the turbo rear end to go with the turbo motor/T5
Why not take everything, and swap it over all at once? Correct? I'm prepping for a new Z in the garage |

You don't need the "turbo rear end". FYI, the turbo R200 is a 3.54 which is lower / slower gearing than the 3.9. :D The only benefit to the turbo rear end is the cv axles instead of half shafts. I'm still running my 81 n/a rear end with half shafts and a CLSD 3.7 R200. I do have an 82 turbo rear end that I will throw in if I ever mangle my 81 (I'll do the camber cuts like PurePontiacKid), but since I'm still using the stock sub bushings, I doubt that will ever happen. |

How do you get the bolts off on the driveshaft, I've heard they're srs torqued on there |
Yup... no strength difference at all between the two diffs.
A combo wrench and someone sitting in the cockpit to put in in gear / out of gear so you can spin the shaft 4 times. That's all it takes. :D |

I think the CV setup is worth swaping in... I believe you can take the guts out of the 3.9 and swap it into the 3.54 or swap the output flanges into the 3.54?

don't let any body part be under the subframe when you finally undo the last bolt
safety first |
Oh, BTW... as one piece it's heavy as hell, so don't let it fall on you. :D
