Suspension Help

Hey ya'll.

just wondering what you guys would do about this. I'm pretty sure my suspension is OK, as in, it doesn't squat when I put on the gas - and it doesn't keep bouncing when I "rock the boat".... nevertheless, the ride isn't exactly smooth. I feel every pebble I run over and the rear end squeaks just the littlest bit.

Would you replace the rear shocks or springs? Can I lube them somehow?

Also - the hatch jiggles a lot. It rattles a TON, and I would like to know what I can do to silence it.

Thanks. just wondering what you folks have done.

Poking and proding works and removing interior body panels and seeing if the sound changes or goes away. Do you have all the rubber bumpers in the hatch area?

i'm not totally sure... the ones that are there are pretty dryrotten.

but I know it's definitely the hatch that's rattling.

The stock rubber bushings crack and creak... 30+ year old suspension tends to do that. :D Replace them if you want.

Nismo, will replacing just the rubber bushings smooth out the ride though?

Depends on the problem. Put the car in the air and check things out.
