how hard is putting in front shocks into a 79. do i need to take out ball joints and other things. i already did the rears, front is left.

 

its been a while since I did them on a ZX, but I believe you just have to zip out the two bolts that go through the steering knuckle into the lower strut housing and remove the 3 nuts at the top of the strut tower and its out. Then you have to seperate the strut cartridge from the housing...hope you've got a big wrench.
