Ok i really want LSD for the blue bird. i was wondering what would be the best way to go about it. I red on the fourms that the R200 is a LSD rear end is this the rear end that came in the turbo cars? someone also said something about making a linkin locker but if i could get a hold of the new/used one i would rather just do the swap.i have to change both wheel bareings soon and would like to just do the hole thing at the same time.

The R200 is just the gear size in the differential. The R200 came on Z-cars from 1975-89 and was not always an LSD.
Many different gear ratios came in the R200 diffs. The only R200 with an LSD from the factory was the 1987-89 300ZX turbo. Those came in 3.7:1

They are hard to find, and very expensive. If you find one, it would be better to sell it to me cheap.

And since they were only produced from the latter half of 87 through the 89 model year and only on the turbo, they're becoming very scarce in the junk yards and more and more expensive from any other source.

My recommendation would be to get an LSD insert from Precision Gear:

You can order it from West Coast Differentials for about $600 last time I checked:

It uses a 12mm bolts, but there are a lot of threads of people successfully using spacers to make it work.
