KYB Gas A Just
I Was Wondering If Anyone Is Running KYB Gas a Just On Their Z. I'm Pretty Sure My Tokicos Are Going Or Have Gone Bad My 79 Has Been Squatting More Than Usual On Launching And Hard Acceleration ......If Anyone Has Tried These Shox Let Me Know How They Worked Out For You Or If Anyone Has Suggestions Feel Free To Let Me Know Thanks
Yep... I'm running KYB's with Eibach springs. Good street setup IMO. Firm, but not spine breaking.
ohh Ok Because I Just Got My Other Set Of Springs In There Suspesion Techniques Literally The Last Ones The Company Had And Im Looking For Better Shox Than The Tokico I Didnt Like Them Much Ill Give The KYB's A Try
You didn't like the Suspension Techniques or Tokicos?
I Have Tokico Shocks With Tokico Springs But The Shocks Blew On That Car So What Ima Do Is Take The Tokico Springs And Strut Out And Put In The Suspension Techniques With The Kyb Gas A Just and Ima Put The Tokico Springs On My Other Z Since My Other Z Is Still Stock Springs
Tokicos Worked Fine I Liked Them I Just wanna Try Other Stuff Now Maybe Help With The Car Not Squatting As Much
If the car is squatting, that's a weak spring, not shock. If you want a firm rear spring and no squat, get some Mercedes 300D springs (I've talked about this many times).
Are the 300Ds as good as aftermarket?

And eibach are just as stiff ?
No, Eibachs are not as stiff. I used the 300D springs on my rears until I got a full set of Eibachs. I never found a good junk yard upgrade for the front springs.
Ok and there around a inch drop?
You have to cut them, so you can drop it however much you want. Feel free to search... As I stated, I've talked about the 300D springs many times, so I don't need or want to type it all over again. :023:

well my Springs are Brand New So Im Sure Theyl Be Ait I Just Wanted Something Other Than Tokico For Shocks Since Mines Didnt Last Verry Long Before They Lost Evectiveness Ive Only Had The Tokico Springs And Struts For About 6 Months
Sorry I don't have anything to say to help you but I read pretty much all the threads here, and no offence or anything but reading your posts hurts my head. Capitalizing everything just makes it difficult to read!
Not trying to flame you or anything! |
