camber issues
i knwo there are threads already for this but i need a better answer.
i just got my car aligned today and my camber is a bit off and i need to get it fixed. My problem is that my rear is pretty off Rear Left = -1.8 Rear Right= -1.6 Front left= -.9 Front right= .1 Is the techno toy tuning camber plates any good? What do i do about the rear? please help and thanx in advance! |
I have heard those adjusting plates work good untill you get to about a 3"+ drop. You're nowhere near that, so you'll be fine. As for the rear, MSA sells some camber adjustments kits which are different control arm bushings. They have a set degree they adjust. I haven't heard anything about them. They're probably your only option so you might as well put them in. If it doesn't correct it all the way, then you'll have to live with what's left.

MSA just came out with adjustable isolaters.$99 front or rear.
It's a lot easier to adjust camber at the top of the strut. |

I was thinking they were for all Zs but these are only for he first gen cars. You ZX guys a stuck with somehow modifying the swing arms in the rear. I haven't seen anything for that yet, sorry.

S14 rear suspension subframe transplant ...
Enough of a mod for the swing arms? :D |
so no solution to the rear problem then?
|
When I got my car alined they told me the camber is pre-set and there is no way to fix it... Just run 40psi in the tires to keep the sides off the ground..
