Arrow Bassett Racing steel wheel info.

I have new Bassett wheels and a few things to pass along. In my case I went with 14" by 7 as only width in 4 x 114 for 14" wheel. Offset is available in 2, 3, or 4". For 0 offset I chose 4' backspace. Link to Bassett offset. Bassett Wheel Inertia Advantage.

* Two things to be aware of are lug nuts are special 45 deg lugs available through Bassett directly for $1.45 ea plus shipping. Secondly the stem is oversized and needs to be sourced. I got mine local for $1 a piece at tire store.

Balancing (read on Bassett site) is done by lug centric method not wheel center. I went to several dealers (they have most modern balancing Equip.) and found a dealer with Hunter "Road Force" balance machine. This is quite impressive machine. So dealer charges $50 for four wheels balanced on this machine. A proper balance.

So it has been two weeks since wheels and tires mounted and I am happy with what I have.
