Struck the MOTHER LODE!!!!

So me and Bob79280ZX went junk yard crawling today. After basically striking out at first we decided to go to one that NEVER has any S130's.

Well, they hade ONE on site and it was a 79 with a completely intact factory black interior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!

I already had the front half of the interior in all factory black, and the left inside rear panel (Spare tire cover) but, I didn't have the strut covers, the rear interior panels, the left rear inside panel with the cubby, the piece that goes across the roof behind the t-tops... It was all there and all PERFECT!

I had painted the ones in my car currently black, but factory black is soooooo much cooler!

Anyway's $70.00 later, my all black factory interior is COMPLETE!

^ It's in Chula Vista (Pick a Part)

And it's spelled... Exactly like I spelled it http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

Sweet find Rod, post some recent pics, when you get the pieces installed. I have thought about going all black in my '83. If I decide to keep it, it is currently black and silver. Anyway again congrats brother, you of all Z people deserve to have your Z finished, the way you have always wanted it to be.

I'll take some pics after I swap it all out... It won't look too different, cuz it's already black... But, now it will be FACTORY BLACK!

I told Bob I would give him the stuff I take out.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention one of the coolest parts I found... My rear carpet for the hatch area didn't exist. I had a half assed piece of black carpet back there that I had cut by hand. Well, no more... Because the junker had that rear carpet too and it was PERFECT! No fading, no stains, no nada but awesome!

I hate to tell you this but... They have a LOT of Z31's at Ecology off Main and Nirvana in Chula Vista. Had to be at least 10 dead Z31's there.

Well, while any of you are junkyard crawling, I'm looking for the plastic trim pieces that go on the door sill and the plastic on the back of the door jam.

Any color as long as it's in good condition let me know so I can go scavange it.

Cheers!

Do you mean the plastic insert on the interior door handle (an escutcheon)?

Chula Vista is further South than Imperial Beach... San Ysidro is further South still and is the actual "Border City"... Sorry

Nope, I mean the plastic that wraps around the rear quarter window and extends down around the back of the door opening.
