I have found that the body work, and paint is not so bad on the 1980 280zx, and is really fun. but I was wundering how hard it is to re-do apolstry in the car, I have gone blue, and I plan on making the inside snow white, I do not plan on geting this carper dirty by the way. so if any one knows about carper, or knows a good place to order it for a resonable price, don't be shy just reply. and tell me what you think about my color decision.

 

I think that would look very nice! I would never do that on a daily driver for reasons you already mentioned. Wow, a while dash and all would be very cool...and blue outside.

iceice did his interrior in white/grey with a very soft grey console and dash. I think it looks very good. A friend of mine started doing that same color to his interrior, although he has a brown interrior now so it definatly needs a color change.

I don't know if those carpet kits for the 280zx come in white, but if you just buy a flat piece of carpet that might work. For a car that is not a daily driver, would low **** house carpet work? i think it would. I used some soft boat carpet in my truck and it looks good. Blue outside/blue interrior.

 

the blue and white color scheme looks really good... but a white carpet i dont know about... you can get the carpet in white but you gotta go th a hapulstery shop to get it... id sudgest you go with the same color blue for your carpet and get some white floor mats or vise versa to get some contrast in your colors... also for your seats you can go with a blue center and white sides... if you wanna see my interior click on the link on my signature and go to page 4...
