Actually, mine are from a 1980 and they are different from the 82-83. Sorry dude. They will work if you want both pieces, but the looks won't match from side to side.

well, if you have a different color, i dont think it will matter that much, like you said, i can just get a new cover, changing the interior to black anyways soon...
