I know i'm a bit overprotected but my father was cutting aluminum strips near the datsun and very tiny aluminum flakes could be seen on the car's paint.

Will these shards damage my paint in any way?


I was thinking to throw a considerable amount of water on the car right before I start scrubbing it with a sponge.


Any enlightening information would be greatly appreciated!

It will act like sandpaper if you dont get them off before you scrub. spray them off really

 

spray and spray and spray, use a soft mitt, or soft wash brush after, and use a 5 gal or bigger bucket to wash the mitt or brush off in.
