Just got my 280zx 2 days ago little rough condition but I got it at a steal $300 running with new tires. But few small issues the whole steering column plastics are gone. But my biggest complaint is the digital display on the radio that shows what channel its on doesnt light up, is there a simple fuse or fix for this i can hear static out of it and occasionally i can hit "seek" and get a channel. I think my antenna is jammed or broken off. But if anyone has advice on how to fix the display would loveeee the help! Trying to keep the interior original but will see ...

 

Yeah after 30+ years,that digital display screen will get tired and stop working.Take it to an audio old school repair shop in your area and they might fix it for you.Mine works good in warm days and will not on the cold days!!Same with my digital clock!

 

I would suggest getting a newer stereo, and just keep the original one. It is really simple to change, and the sound quality, and the fact you can hook up an ipod or any other mp3 player is great.
