You can do it! I have faith in ya! If you have a Haynes Manual, it's not hard. These are simple engines.

Hey man, it is a good start. I would personally start on redoing the interior. And it will make a great difference in your Z. My '82 was literally destroyed on the inside. Verry trashed interior, that I have ripped out, and redone. But still only 90% is finished in mine. Also see if you can come up with a color scheme you like. And then go from there, to start restoring your interior. :)

All aside, in my opinion, don't take it the wrong way. I would ditch some of your emblems. Makes the car look more gawdy. Especially the 280zx turbo one on your hatch in the middle. It takes away the smoothness of the lines on the car itself. Also what is up with the limited edition emblem? (just curious) When I do get around to finishing my Bluestreak. He will only get the emblems the turbos came with. And of course his Autobot decals. Not bagging on you man, just giving you some tips, to have a more kick-#ss Z.:038:

Also I noticed you went the coat hanger route on your exhaust muffler. Good temp fix bro'. But I gurantee you will be happier to get proper hangers for it in the future. It will look so much cleaner, and better. If you need tips on doing your interior. Do not hesitate to call on me man. It makes me feel good, to know, I have helped somebody else out. And their Z, is much more killer looking.:)

lol i see some one took a closer look. hey it was a temp fix the coat hanger lol i will break down and buy a real hanger next pay check... come on now.. at least im trying to fix up my z car i just dont want it stock anymore... thats why i have a 1983 280zxt thats gonna be my stock car..

It's all good bro', no offense. Just wanted to point it out. I observe more than others.:wink: And yes I give you props on what you have been doing. Just do one thing at a time, and you will get there. If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. Good luck man, and don't hesitate to ask me for tips.:)

Looks pretty good. Im not big on all the emblems though, and the inside needs a deffinite cleaning, but other than that...nice work so far!

Although, I'm definitely not a fan of all the emblems, especially the GT-R.

Mine has no badges at all...

The only thing that will tip them off to what is under the hood is the sound of the blow-off valve as I hit second gear and leave them in the dust... :)

didn't know nissan made a GTR Z car, lol good to know...seriously tho, get rid of the badges. keep the hood emblem but get rid of all the others, especially the GTR one cause it aint a Skyline...She's a 280ZX so be damn proud! other than that, things look to be comin along great.

yup those seats would really look great in the 280, and they were the same i was talking about in the junk yard car....very nice and she's moving along quickly...nice.:unibrow:

Go for the rising sun hood. Its not my idea anyway. Nissan has been doing that on their cars since before I was born. A couple friends here in WA did that to their 510's first anyway... oh, and I have now swapped back to the purple hood. :D
The Rising Sun hood is just a wall ornament now
