Louvers... for s30 or s130?

Can anyone tell if these louvers are intended for an s30 or an s130?

Looks like S130 louvers... But there is a difference between the 2seater & 2+2 louvers. Have you tried putting it over your rear window to see how it fits?

im almost 100% sure thats a 2+2 s130 louver

The 2+2 hatch window is shorter than the 2seater window.

Oh... I meant more specifically to the picture. Its kind of hard for me to tell how long it is, since there's very little in the image to reference to.

If I could get a measurement of it, what lengths would indicate which it goes on?

Thanks, rxKaffee

Get a measurement...

rxKaffee Jul 5, 2006 07:20 PM

height: 30"
width at top: 37"
width at bottom: 44"

Bump... anyone know which thes emeasurements go with? louvers for the 2+2 or the 2 seater?

Dorifto Jul 9, 2006 10:49 PM

30" ... has to be a 2+2 ... they've got the smaller rear hatch glass, no?

rxKaffee Jul 10, 2006 02:05 PM

They do. Thats a bummer. Guess I'll keep looking for one to fit my 2 seater :)

Thanks everyone for helping me determine that this is the WRONG product for my car!! Could have been a costly mistake, lol.

Thanks again!

I guess the 2 seater ones would be about 40" high?

So do you need 2 seater louvers? I have a set, I will never put back on my Z. Let me know, and we can figure out a price. Also these are for an S130, they came off of my '81.

s30 '70-'78 240, 260, 280z. s130 '79-'83 280zx. There is the difference for you.:)

EatmyDust Jul 24, 2006 05:40 PM

but where did the s130 number come frome? is it just some kind of nomenclature, or what dose it represent if anything other than 79-83 280zx.

duowing Jul 24, 2006 06:21 PM

mainly the car's chassis identification.

70'78 Zs - S30
79-83 280ZX - S130
84-89 300ZX - Z31
90-96 300ZX - Z32
350Z - Z33

rxKaffee Jul 24, 2006 06:35 PM

Its also part of the VIN... HS130...

So I got my new-to-me Aluminum louvers in! They're currently a fading black. Was thinking of sanding them down and just polishing the aluminum to a not-too-shiny surface. Think this would look ok, or blind the people behind me in the sun?

snwbrderphat540 Aug 15, 2006 07:33 AM

haha...blind them all......well, depends on the color of your car. gotta think stylish and decide what color or w/e matches the body color of your car currently
