There is a white interior light that comes on in my Z when the headlights (but not parking lights) are on - it is under the center vent just right of where the blower fan **** is (but under, if that makes sense). It looks a little strange. Does anyone know if it is supposed to be on? Seems that the only purpose could be to illuminate the radio or shifter.... but the way my Z is right now it could just be a glitch...

I believe it is to illuminate the climate controls. Mine is all busted to hell (courtesy of people trying to steal my stereo), so I can't say what it SHOULD look like, or where it should be, but mine comes on with the headlights, as well as the parking lights. It bothered me though, so I simply unplugged it.

Yep...it's there for the stereo illumination. If it's white, that means it's missing the thin green plastic sleeve that's supposed to cover the bulb.
