How are Corbeau GTS II seats?
I'm 5'11" and wear pants with a 36" waist. The Corbeau GTS II seats state they are for a 36"-38" waist size and so I'm right at about the limit. I'm in discussion with one person about the seats who states those stats are a little optimistic and the seats are a pretty tight fit for a 36" waist. Thus, I wish to hear any comments from anyone with personal experience with those seats. Thanks much!

if you know a speed shop with some on the floor go sit in them on the floor, ive done this b4 and it works for a basic feel. youll know if you dont fit well into one of those seats. im not lucky enough to have the money for those, i got the cheapy versions from china, there comfy tho.

Unfortunately I do not know of any shops in my area that would have them available to sit in. I must admit I have not done the best job looking around so maybe I'll give it a 2nd effort.

Oh, and now I have two people telling me they have a 36" waist and did not like the fit of the GTS II. Dangit, I like the look of those seats. I'm not too fond of the look that most other after-market seats have with a racing harness and those big wings on the sides for lateral support. Too racey for just a weekender. Rats. |
