Does anyone know where/who sells a g-nose kit for a 280zx? I saw a pic of one awhile back and ideas are flowing pretty good. Here's the pic.....

sorry i dunno..BUT ...that gave me a GREAT idea...im gonna cutt off 1 or 2" from the front of the hood and blend my MSA airdam with my lights in...

That G-nose, combined with the fender flares, aftermarket mirrors, and that wraparound spoiler make for one sexy ride!

I'd bet for the right price, the guys at Arizona Z-car would fab one up ... perhaps with enough orders, they might just build a mold and start marketing! (hint hint :D )

this is the G nose for the ZX. its the only one I know of, I dont know about you but it'll be making an apperance on my car at some point in the near future.

Skully, that kit is for the older S30 Z only.
The 280ZX G-nose kit for sale is from MPJ Auto in the UK. He'll even ship to the US if you want. I would bet shipping costs for that would be between 1 and 2 thousand dollars. Also, that right hand drive 2+2 is obviously from the UK.

I filled out the order to ship to PA and shipping came up as only being $19.99 whats the deal with that?

C'mon....I'm serious about this. On a Black ZX, with the right body kit...damn! I can't seem to find a US vendor..... :mad:

I also was intrested in the whole deal with pounds and such and i found this out from emailing him it's (exchange rate about $1.88 to the GB pound). hope that helps if that doesn't ask him yourself here's his email mike@mjpauto.com.

I'm not doing a 'complete' G-Nose kit, but I'm doing something very subtle with the front of mine that is gonna look very good when it's done.

I just finished laying on the first layer of filler to take care of the minor low spots from the welds.

You know that crappy piece of rubber that covers the gap between the bumper and the hood? Mine's gone. And it looks REALLY good without it! The new work totally blends the bumper into the hood.

Pictures will be up in the next couple of days after I get paint on it.

I am buying that kit after my engine is dropped in That is way better that the MSA kit. :D

agreed... I wonder if anyone could find out about how much shipping would run... i saw in an earlier post like 20 bucks or something... I don't think that's right.

dude, I used to live in Phoenix... I was based at Luke AFB... I still have a TON of friends there. I miss it man, best city in the US. Not to mention I don't think I have ever seen an ugly girl in phoenix :D that's something to be proud of.. you do any racing around town? 101 loop ownz. I am trying to talk my wife into moving back out there. This being in the south crap has GOT to go...

I don't see how shipping something that large from the UK would only cost $150. More like $750-1000. More than the cost of the kit. It'll cost you $150 just to ship the MSA air dam from California to Arizona!
Besides, everyone who emails that company does not get a response.

Maybe we should get someone on this side if the pond to make one. and if I'm reading all these other posts correctly there are a few other zx parts people wouldn't mind seeing.
