they do have replacement pan you can buy but they have to be welded in. i had a hole in same spot on my 83, i cut it out and just welded in a plate to cover they hole.

Lay a thin piece of wood over the hole and seal it with caulk. It actually lasts a long time and it's just as good as metal, only it costs alot less and there's less time, money, and frustration involved. Good luck.
