Hey guys, haven't been around in a couple weeks. Here's the skinny: I set up to buy a used L28ET. I go to my mechanic, and he's basically like: "Why do that?" Long story short, he's doing the whole 350/700R4 swap. Pretty excited. No Z though for a month or so... I've been having to drive the Galant everywhere.
Anyway, stumbled across this hood while i was doing my monthly scan of Ebay. I KNOW one of you guys want it. would be nice with some paint

350 sucks gas and is slow. For what you're paying him to do that swap you could build and install (easily) a 350hp turbo engine that will weight a few hundre pounds less than the Chevy 350 and get so much better gas milage off boost. Plus, you'll have a real Z car still.
The hood isn't too bad. The rear 'louvers' are ugly. I'd buy it if it was all smooth like that with no hood vents. I like the wide center raised section. I'd buy a 200ZR hood scoop and isntall it in the center like the Z31 look.

Its decently priced and doesn't look Too bad. Luckily its not painted, if it was painted then I'd be less inclined to fill in the louvers, but since it's not, I'd have no problem filling those in. I'm making my own anyways, so I guess it doesn't matter!

hes sellin it cuz it looks like crap and i bet it barely holds up its so flimsy...plz...going for sleeper look...well fill in the louvres and the gay scoops and it will be a sleeper and light....but no....
