pound it out or buy a new one?

the lower valence is dented pretty bad, not folded back up under the car like i have seen alot just pinched and scraped.

is it worth pounding out and repainting it or worth $26 to get one off the internet (shipped)?

Pound it out...it isn't that thick. Repaint it and save some money and gain the satisfaction of fixing it on your own.
