Dash-weather strip/seal
I'm in the process of replacing my dash and there is a black rubber strip that runs along between the windshield and end of the dash. That strip is cracked, and I would like to know if it needs to be replaced with a similar rubber strip or can it be filled in with another product?

I think what that is a cushion or a gasket for the edge of dash. I see no other purpose cause both sides are inside the car. Theres no air coimg through there to seal. Mine too needs replacing and i was planning or hardware store and weather stripping..........
