ZXT dies for 10 mins at a time???
 

It has happened before but it stopped for a month or so. Now i just put on my new fuel rail and it is doing it again. The car will run fine, but sometimes it will just decide to die alongside of the road for no apparent reason. I can be cruising or getting into it a little. It will just sit there for no reason. I will get out and mess with every sensor (AFM, 02, TPS, head temp sens) and nothing seems to help. Then it will just start, sometimes out of the blue without messing with anything.


I have heard that it can be the ignitino control module, can this be true? Im going to the junkyard to see if i can pick up one but what else could it be? It doesnt seem fuel related but having me just intall my new fuel rail makes me wonder. Thanks guys

Just in case, the engine is from an 82zxt(its in my 77 280 though, all factory electronic compenents are still there).

Just a thought .. I had same problem and replaced fuel filter.. prblem went away.

I had the same problem and it was the "Brain Box" aka the control module. In the 260z its located on the fire wall inside the cabin on the passanger side. I took mine sent to and electronics place and they fixed it for me. Mine did all the things that you people are listinng for many months.
