When, where, any details? Plus we need your email address. I don't know that I will be able to come as I've already made plans on that particular day, but you can't believe how thrilled I am that someone else in Arkansas is interested in getting Z-Owners together. Could this possibly be the start of an Arkansas Z Club? Man I hope so, I think it would be so cool to have get togethers and the sort like I hear of so many other clubs doing.

the meet will be held at washburn park on lakefront road, take exit 84 at russellville, you will go right as soon as you get off of the interstate, if coming from the west, left if coming from the east, you will come a very short distance you will see a holiday inn on the right, there is a red light there take a right that should be lakefront drive, go down about a mile, it will be on the left, just before you get to a red light. I am sorry that it is a short notice, but we have had several meets and they have all been 90- 96 models, we want to have all models there, trying to get a 350 there, we are providing a meal, which includes, grilled hot dogs, smoked sausage, pizza drinks and some simple dessert. We also will get a free movie at the theatre there later on, we are going to meet somewhere around 2:00 pm, we will stay there for awhile and when we leave there we can go to mt. nebo for a breathtaking view of the area and a good spot to take some pictures. Well i hope some of you guys can really make it, hopefully we can start having several a year and maybe one more before the year is out. I live in crossett so i have along way to drive, but i always come i would love to see a good turnout there. Hope to meet some of you there. LATER BRIAN!! (90 NA 300 ZX)

Thanks for the info. I won't be able to make this one after all (pending house sale) but will definitely be at the next one. Hopefully by then the turbo will be on the 240! It would be nice to get a Z club going for the area. Whenever we do, I'll have my name on the list. I know that the OK Z Club gets together to do Hallett track days and autocrosses. BTW, thanks for meeting in russellville. A little more central for those of us in NWA. Anyone spoken with Terry (don't know his last name) from LR? He's the one on Hybridz.org with the monster 5.0 powered 240? It'd be nice to meet him and even nicer to see his car! Hope the event comes off! Bryan |

Augh! Wish I could come, but I gotta work that night and it's a really long drive( I live in Sheridan) so I couldn't do both. Man, well hopefully there'll be many more of these and I'll be able to get to some. My car isn't pretty, as a matter of fact it downright looks like a rolling junkpile, for now anyway, but I would love to get together with a bunch of people that love these cars as much or more than me.

I know exactly what you mean, mine has a couple of cases of rust, though in fairly controllable areas, faded paint, but its a work in progress. Its amazing, if you truly love and enjoy this family of cars your proud of it no matter what they look like.

Oh if rust were my only problem. But the 2 PO's were very bad people, and my poor baby needs almost everything replaced :(. Would take too long to describe all of it in detail, but a small part of it is I have to replace every part of the interior except the gauges in the dash, and yes I am not exaggerating, I do mean every part of the interior. But someday she'll be better than she was the day she rolled off the line. Til then, I'm gonna give her plenty of TLC and do the repairs/rebuilds as I go along and save up the money to do them.

Ok, this is my first post ever on zdriver.com--I've been lurking now for a while now.
I'm from Little Rock and would love to make it up there. I'm 24 years old and just got my first Z for $1000 dollars. We've done a little bit of work on her (body and interior are straight for the most part, needs a dash though) and she's primer-black at the moment. Glad there is something to do this weekend since the hogs aren't playing! :) Bruce |

My Z's not driveable right now, but if you're not gonna have anyone else in the car with you, I'd love to hitch a ride and help out with gas money. Shoot me an e-mail if you might be interested. Fayetteville Z Lovers
I'm interested in going to Russelville for the Z gathering, but my Z's not exactly in road trip condition at the moment. In addition to my '78 280 Z 2+2, I have a '92 Jeep Cherokee and, if I can't arrange a ride in someone else's Z, I'd be glad to head up a carpool and take four or five others down there with me. Long story, but thanks to Superior Nissan (directly or indirectly, I'm not sure), the block is cracked. And aside from having no brakes and needing new tires, that's the major reason it's not driveable. I'm in the process of trying to get Nissan to replace the completely original engine the dealership destroyed, but who knows when or if that will happen. So, all that aside, you wanting to go down to Russelville this weekend?

Hey there...FINALLY!!!! Z people in Ark. Ive got a 77 Z thats 100% original and I show it quite a bit in the area...(Im in Jacksonville). I couldnt make it to the meet today, but Im VERY interested in getting together with others of the same taste in cars. If this is the star of a club let me in. My Z:
