The Z is Back
Whats up everyone, after 2 years my Z is finally back on the road with a fresh gust of life blown back into it. Petaluma Auto Works did a splendid job on the 2.8 with 240 head (don't know which exact model right now) and big valves. A Shneider Cam and Headers followed with a nice 2.5" exhaust help it hit some nice notes. Right now I am just using some freshened SU Carbs because I commute to the Santa Rosa Junior College right now and could use the fuel economy. I also decided to drop a ZX 5 speed in it and convert the rear drums to disk. I had this car originally when I was in high school and was my first car. A lack of my maintenence resulted in the motor melting from oil starvation after owning the car for a year. I have learned a lot since that mistake, in fact it is an embarrasing thing to admit to. Anyways, I will probably be participating in the forums because I plan to address more issues like suspension and wheels along with an updated interior.

here is some pics of the motor because I didn't post any of those last night. I also forgot that I had an optima battery placed behind the passenger side wheel well. The only rust was under the battery tray so I had that treated and it will be finished in about 2 weeks and ground smooth and painted the same color as the engine bay.
