Which wire?
 

Can someone tell me which wire is feeding the ignition resistor that is next to the coil on a 71 240? The wire colors are Black w/white stiripe and green w/black stripe. I want to use the feed for a switched 12 volt source for the TEC II and I can't test it because the harness is on my kitchen table! A quick response is greatly appreciated by my wife.

the Green and White wire, and the Black and white wire are connected together if you pull out the tach you'll see that, and they also run into each other at the ballast resistor as well, But I think its the Black and White wire if you have to connect them, I think it wouldn't hurt to hook them both up? I'm no wire expert, but just trying to reply becuase no one has yet. Hope that helps some
