Wil a 75 engine swap into a 81 z
 

I have a 75 engine and four speed transmission for sale an I was asked if it would swap into an 81. Can anyone answer this question? How about the F.I. and the four speed transmission?

I thought he was asking if he could sell this engine to someone with a 81. The answer is yes but you have to be careful about engine heads because of some using square exhaust ports and some using round ones. Is the 75 fuel injected I think that was the first year of the 280z but I live in Aus and we didn't get the 280z so I'm not sure.
Basically it will fit but the exhaust manifold might not bolt up depending on engine heads I think.
If you 75 engine was fuel injected shouldn't be a problem.

I sold a Green 1975 a year ago. It had been in WA its whole life and they guy that bought it brought it down to California.
