What you guys think on this buy?

Hey everyone... im new here to the site. Everything seems very organized with friendly people...

I have owned many vechicles from Civics to a 450whp Evo... now I had always had the love for Zs. When I was younger my father owned a Anniversary edition Turbo 300zx with the red leather interior...ever since then I have always had a Z in my garage. This is my 6th Z and second I own sitting beside my 370z.

Got a call from my buddy that owns his own dealership and was at the auction in Springfield, MO at the moment. He went ahead and told me there was a Z in the lot. Gave me some info on it... then sent the pics. Once I saw the pics I told him that was the one. He then won the bid at $2300... I thought it was a great buy. Now you guys tell me what you think.

Once I got the car home... I checked the outside of it... looks like the white paint job is fresh. Does have some bondo work in the rear quarter which I was not to pleasent about... seems like they used some type of epoxi foam of some sort underneath the carriage which kinda scares me. I havent had much time to really get in there to check but Im thinking there might have been some rust. Interior is all there and car does run but needs a little TLC.

Got pictures in here https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-...el-tank-38799/

Really if the Z runs and drives and has very little rust it was more then likely worth it. I think I paid around $1100 for a non-running but clean Z

1. Do you enjoy it?
2. Is it a financial drain?
3. Is it sound?
4. Do you regret buying it?

If you answered Yes, No, Yes, No, then you have a good buy.
