What would the experts pay? '70 240z
Hello,
I've been lurking on Z-forums, craigslist, and just about everywhere else scoping out 240/260/280z's, and I came across this the other day. It's a local 1970 240z that has been restored. Most of the local ones I've found over the past few months have all been in very rough condition, and being a novice at best when it comes to working on cars, and lacking more than a condo parking garage as a place to work on them, I can't realistically restore a Z without going through a shop. So I've been keeping my ear to the ground for a restored or very clean/mechanically sound early model Z, with the 240 being my ideal. Now my question, does this price seem fair? To me it seems high, but I am the furthest thing from a subject matter expert. Also, I've bought used cars before, but never ones this old; do you have any recommendations or links that would give me a better idea of what to look for? I will likely go see the car some time next week when I'm back in town, but I just wanted y'all's expert opinion first. Thanks in advance for the help!

It doesn't say the vin# but I noticed it has the rare throttle set lever. These were removed by the dealers. if I had the cash I would buy it in a heartbeat. It would cost more to do it yourself. That car is new. JMO
