i'm wondering what performance gains in the 0-60 for a 1974.5 260z could be had. The changes are to dual SU carbs and a K&N air. Would this help at all? Thanks

 

oops...change from the flat-top (emissions) to round-top su carbs...that's what i meant, sorry for the mistake

 

i changed to exactly what u want to do... and well before when i had the flat tops on, i didn't feel no pull at all though any gear, now i am back into my seat,

i don't have any actaual numbers, but the 240z SU's, with exhaust system, and electronic dizzy is a great combo, and works fantastic...

it will be better driving, and better everything with the 240z SU's, i've never looked back, actaully i just chucked them out last week

theres someone that did that on this board, put 240z SU carbies onto a 280zx and they said they never knew the engine had that power there..

go down the list of post and see what u can find..

the su's u want are 240z SU's, they are identyfied by the round bell tops as the 260z SU's had flat head tops...
