VIN help
I just purchased what I believe to be a 1972 240Z that is in great condition. I am unable to get a carfax report because the vin isnt 17 digits. Does anyone have any help on getting information on Z cars from the VIN number? The VIN is hld30076006. Thanks for the help...

Try looking at www.zhome.com it will not give you a history report like Carfax but it will help you determine what year the car is. If that is all you are after you can also check the id plates inside the driver's door or under the hood.
