Went for a drive...wow... I thought lowering springs were amazing compared to original suspension, well these coilovers are just as amazing over the lowering springs. So responsive, its stiff, but not kidney wrecking, I have it set pretty soft so it rides super nice, handles like a dream, definitely an amazing upgrade. Also sits a bit better I can go another 1" in the front and 2" in the back lower, but It would be not driveable at all.

I've gotta agree here. It's a beautiful car Skully, with performance to match.

Thanks , it could use a coat of paint, at least on all the new parts, the garage paint job isn't holding up to the days spent driving , but I have no time for that at the moment.

Nephew came to visit, after a quick tune-up, he took me for a drive. Rookie tho, can't even double clutch, just granny shifting, pff.

Also I know you yankees are jealous of my shirt. :P

Well the winter was crappy and cold, so I didn't do anything. I did manage to get these suckers installed in the past few days of thaw, they are super comfy. I'll drop the transmission in the upcoming month. Put new mirrors on, and put one on the passenger side as well, feels more balanced to the eye with both mirrors heh.

Driveshaft is being made, and bellhousing is off getting machined, in the meantime, friend of a friend wanted to do a little photoshoot. Looks lovely.

As you can see I have removed all of my cold starting equipment; because our winters are too extreme (-30c days are normal) I don't drive it in winter time. Right now the temperatures have been around 0c (30f ). It still starts fine, but I do have megasquirt so it is easier to tune for a colder start. I am sure on stock ecu with all the equipment removed it would be harder to start, not that it bothers me anyways, it isn't my only mode of transportation. Depends on what you can put up with in a car, I don't mind sitting there a few minutes while it warms up. If you want a turn key start up every time, high idle cold start, I wouldn't recommend removing any of the cold start stuff. Hope that makes sense.

Ok! It's been a while since I did anything, car spent most of the summer on jack stands. Finally had all the bits and pieces to complete everything and its up and running again !!
z32 5 speed is in, with the Hoke adapter.

Parts are here !

Should hold few ponies.

Upgraded clutch fork.

Had to take it apart to get the bellhousing machined. Internals looked in good shape still. Cleaning up.

Machining for adapter leaves this mess of holes from z32 starter and stock starter.

Fiberglassed a cover for it.

Trimmed and painted, I drilled and tapped 2 holes to make it removable easily.

While trans was out, Installed the RT mount with stock on the bottom still. Overkill, but its snug as a bug!

On we go.

The yoke for shifter had to be shortened and welded. The second part I made since whoever took the trans out just torched the assembly off.

Almost ready to go in.

It is a god damn tight fit.

But it does fit.

Cherry on top shift ****

Shifting feels amazing and having 5th is pretty sweet!

Happy motoring.
