Turbos

im thinking of buying a 79 280zx...
I really dont know that much about them, so i was wondering if these models come with turbo..as an option..or not at all..thanks

The 280zx body style was made from 1979-83.
The turbo was an option from 1981-83 only. Also, in 1981 all turbo 280zx's have an automatic from the factory. In 1982 the 5-speed turbo was also available.

i got a question. is it possible to install an L32 turbo kit onto an L28 powerplant?

Yep, you'll have to have custom pistons made that will get the compression ratio low enough, but it's possible. I have a crank and rods. Someone has shown interest, but I lost communication with them. Email me directly if you're interested in the stuff.
