thinking about buying 280z
 

hey guys im thinking about buying a 1976 280z with 96k miles on it. what do you guys think is a fair price? (also the guy is asking 2700)

i looked at the 280zx common problem checklist, is there anything that dosent apply for 280z?

also how does this car fare under daily driving? i probably will be driving it a lot because my job is 30-40 minutes away highway miles :075:

Well depends on the condition of the car. Have any pics? Of course the number 1 issue with old Zs is rust.....check the floor pans, the frame rails, the battery tray, and under the hatch among other places. As long as there are no major rust issues, I would say thats a pretty good deal.

So it's only been driven 4k miles per year? Not likely but if you don't know take the car to a mechanic for inspection.
