some questions that need answering.
 

1. are there any greace nipples on a 280zx for lubricating chassis/ suspension?
2. does anyone know where I can get some vinyl like that on the tranny tunnel of a 240z? I want to replace my carpet with something like that.
3. will 83 turbo injectors/ intake manifold fit on my 81 turbo?
4. how adjustable is the alignment on an 81? caster cambet toe etc...
5. is there an air intake alternative to the one MSA sells?
6. has anyone ever changed from an auto to a manual? what is involved?
7. does anyone know the size, and number of splines of the input shaft of an 81? or know of a six speed that will fit?

hi

there are zerk fittings on the ball joints for lube.

83 turbo injectors will for sure fit your 81.

the alignment to my understanding is limited to toe in toe out on the front.

you can make an air intake out of pvc pipe and a cone filter.

you can change your auto to a manual. you need to mount the clutch pedal and slave cylinder.

cant help you on the vinyl or 6 speed.

I don't think they make the x hatch vinyl anymore. I scored some out of a 71 with perfect interior, I mean pristine out of a junk yard in San Diego $35 for all the interior rear panels side panels, vinyl and $7.50 per door panel. I raped this Z of all it had. So you can go that route for vinyl. You cant put a six spd with the Z motor I don't think or I would have one. You can go to arizonazcar.com for another air filter, But I would rather fabricate my own.
