Roll Bar
I need a few tips on installing an Autopower roll bar. I kept the roll bar out of my last z, which I didn't install. I am wondering how you guys go about making sure its in the right place. Also, do you guys just drill holes through the vinyl, or is there a less destructive method to doing this. Do you seal it in any way to avoid rust on top or bottom and if so, with what. Last, anyone found an attractive looking way to pad a roll bar and is there any way to protect stock seats from 5 point belt damage? Thanks for all the help.

Re: Roll Bar
Well, I don't have an Autopower on my Z, but it's on the 510 I have for autocrossing. I cut out holes of the vinyl on the car where it was going to be drilled, and used primer, paint and then a layer of that rubberized undercoating. Seems to work well because I haven't seen any rust forming where the plates and stuff are attached. I don't have the bar padded so I can't help you out, but most people I see have some kinda neoprene/foam stuff they wrap around it. Oh and the bar for me bolted to the front side of the rear wheel well. Don't know if it's the same for a Z. Sorry.
