Replaceing seal where cranck enters front cover.....

Replaceing seal where cranck enters front cover.....
Do I need to take the whole front face off the engine or can I just take off the pully, slide to old one out and the new one in. This is on the 240z.

You can change it by removing the pulley. I've done it this way, its a piece of cake. Use a seal puller and it pops right out, and just tap in the new one.
