Rearview mirror in the way...
 

Just driving around today, just looking inside the car i relised that the review mirror is reallly obstructing my view, as i am 6"1 or so, and i sit pretty flat, the mirror is at my eye height so i am loosing a fair bit of viewing area out of the front windscreen//..

i was thinking of finding a shorter mirror at the wreckers for cheap and just testing.. and when i take the mirror off i feel i can see so much better...

any other suggestions

just a thought, but I remember growing up seeing a lot of euro cars with their mirror mounted on the dash itself. might give that some thought, depending on how you mount it, it might be kinda cool, functional, and get it out of your way.

I'm about 6'1", 6'2", and i don't have any problems, you're seat must be pretty high. I guess mine are bucket seats, but I did not think this would make a difference. Jamie's idea was a good one, or you could go to the wreckers and find a car with a smaller mirror, Or you could offset the mirror to the side, but this might distort your vision

yeah man...just cut the whole roof off while your at it so u can see 360 degress around you. hehe just kiddin zpeed. Gee mine is'nt that much of a hinderense.

im 6'2 and i have no problems at all never even payed attention to it but now tha u guys brought it up ill bet it will bother me......

does anyones head hit that plastic thing that goes across the centre of the roof when they lean their head back, man that would not be good in an accident

yer i got stock seats also... and i have it pretty straght, its not that bad, just when i removed it i relised how much viewing area i was loosing... and am not going to mount it on the dash as it would look kinda bad there i think... might just live with it.... driving for a few hours in ur Z on the freeway u notice a few things.. haha
