quick sway bar question

yo-
did '73's come with front swaybars? I have one on the front of mine and am wondering if its stock. I want to find out how much better my msa's will be that I kept from my last z. ALso, will my msa's fit the same as the stock ones because they have a very different shape.
Thanks.

Re: quick sway bar question

Yes, The 73' 240 came with a stock front sway bar and brackets for a rear one.

Not sure what MSA bar or bars you have and what size they are. Some of the older
rear sway bars had different brackets and mounted to the rear floor pan behind the
seats.

Re: quick sway bar question

i have a 73, and I have the MSA sway bars. front stock sway bar is 5/8"stock, i believe. The MSA unit is 1" diameter, and when i get home, I will post a comparison picture of the two side by side when I get home.

MSA unit comes with polyurethane bushings, brackets and mounts and endlinks
