Will front fenders of 280z fits onto a 240?

I think they are the same from 70-78. At least in my catalogs they are.

Keep the greasy side down.

They may fit, but I think you will find they are a little thicker and heavier, I don't know if this matters to you though, its up to you

hmmm...to tell the truth, it does matter. I want my 240 to be a 240, not a hibrid. Well, I'll just have to be patient and wait for the right one.

The 260z and 240z ones are exactly the same to my knowledge. They won't be thicker and even if they were nobody would notice. The extra weight in later Z's came in the doors and chassis.

That was the impression I got from just reading around, I may well be wrong- you should check them out anyway, see if it is noticibly different, as for it being a hybrid, If the panels are exactly the same, only a little thicker, what does it matter- its still a 240

Well hibrid or not it's really doesn't matter cause realisticly there's no difference. But it's just personal reference. I guess i'm really into 240's hehe.
Good news is, I did found 2 240 fenders. And this person lives in town too. What luck =). Just hope it's in good shape.

I'm not sure if there was in difference from the factory (weight, wall thickness, etc.), but MSA sells "Fenders (70-78)" in their catalog. I'd guess they were all the same.
